Dr. Louay Sabih
Internal Medicine
Dr. Lou Sabih is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in the Kansas City area since 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from The University of Iowa and has been a Hospitalist since the year 2000. Dr. Sabih founded GIMS in 2011, a private Hospitalist practice with a focus on the geriatric patient. Dr. Sabih is also the Medical Director to several nursing homes, rehab hospitals, and hospice services.
Katherine Crawford
Nurse Practitioner
Katie Crawford graduated from the University of Arkansas with her BSN in 2016. She worked at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza for 6 years in a medical cardiac unit. While working, Katie returned to school to obtain her MSN degree at The University of Central Missouri and became an FNP in 2022. She is board-certified in Kansas and Missouri through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Katie is dedicated to providing goal-oriented and patient-centered care through evidence-based practice.
Vanessa Norwood
Nurse Practitioner
Vanessa Norwood is an Advanced Practice Nurse Board Certified with the American association of Nurse practitioners in Missouri and Kansas. She obtained her BSN in 2019 and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in adult geriatrics in 2023 from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Vanessa is a motivated and dedicated DNP with excellent interpersonal communication ability, a strong desire to learn and master new skills, and a superior work ethic. Professionally focused on building a broad base of knowledge and providing exceptional patient care. Her DNP project/dissertation was focused on Dementia and Multidisciplinary support services. Her previous experience includes travel nursing in a variety of specialties in Kansas and Missouri including: LTC, AL/IL, skilled nursing, palliative care, and internal medicine.
Morgan Rainey
Nurse Practioner
Morgan L Rainey is a Nurse Practitioner Specialist in Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated with honors in 2022. Having more than 4 years of diverse experiences, Morgan Rainey is a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, who primarily practices in Overland Park, KS. She is board certified. Morgan is a dedicated and hard working nurse practitioner, who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Miriam Kipngeno
Nurse Practitioner
Miriam shows seven years of experience as a registered nurse and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Nurse Practice in December 2024. She is eager to apply her skills, education, and passion for patient-centered care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients. She has developed a strong foundation in clinical skills, patient care, and healthcare management. She’s had the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which has strengthened my communication and leadership abilities. Miriam graduated with honors and as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to advancing nursing knowledge and dedication to providing evidence-based care.
